How ADA Exchanges Work

Start an ADA exchange by choosing what you send, what you receive and the receiving network. SwapADA converts the deposit and sends the result to the wallet address you provide.

Set Up Your Exchange

Enter the amount and review the net amount you will receive. Check the receiving network in your wallet before you enter its address.

  1. Choose the two assets and the network for each side.

  2. Enter the receiving address and select floating or fixed pricing.

  3. Review the quote, then create the exchange and save its private tracking link.

A Cardano payment address receives ADA. A stake or reward address serves a different purpose and cannot replace the receiving address.

Understand Your Quote

The floating service fee is 0.45%, while the fixed service fee is 0.75%. The quote includes the service charge and the estimated network cost for the payout; your sending wallet charges its own transaction fee separately.

A fixed quote lasts 15 minutes. The full deposit must reach the designated network before the displayed deadline; a late or incomplete payment may require a new quote and your agreement.

Send the Deposit and Follow Progress

Use the asset, address and network shown in your exchange instructions. Keep enough of the sending network's fee currency in your wallet to pay for the transfer.

The tracker distinguishes waiting for payment, network confirmations, review, conversion and payout. A transaction appearing in an explorer does not mean every later stage has finished.

When a Payment Needs Attention

Contact SwapADA exchange support with the exchange ID and transaction hash if you sent a different amount or used the wrong network. Recovery depends on what was sent and where it arrived, so an unsupported transfer may be unrecoverable.

Unpaid exchanges can be abandoned. After a deposit has been sent, cancellation or a refund requires review; any available return amount and network cost are explained before a refund is arranged.

FAQ

Can I send delegated ADA?

Pool delegation does not lock the ADA held in your payment wallet. Accrued rewards may need to be withdrawn into its spending balance before they can be sent.

Can I reuse an old deposit address?

Create a new exchange and follow its own payment instructions. An earlier address or quote may no longer match the asset, network or pricing conditions you need.

Does creating an exchange guarantee completion?

An exchange still depends on a valid deposit, available liquidity, network processing and any required transaction review. Read the transaction review policy before sending funds.
