AML and Transaction Review Policy

SwapADA reviews exchange activity to identify suspicious transactions, sanctions concerns, fraud and other prohibited uses. A standard exchange without an account can still require checks before conversion or payout proceeds.

How a Review Affects an Exchange

A review may begin when the sending or receiving activity raises a risk concern. The exchange can be paused while relevant information is assessed, and its original estimated completion time no longer applies.

The outcome may be approval, a request for more information or refusal to process the exchange. A new quote may be needed if the original pricing conditions have expired.

Information We May Request

Requests relate to the payment and the person responsible for it. Depending on the case, this can include identity details, evidence of wallet control, transaction records or an explanation of the source of funds.

Only send requested documents using the instructions provided for your case. SwapADA does not need a wallet recovery phrase, private key or password to review a payment.

Restricted Activity

Do not use SwapADA for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, theft or concealing criminal proceeds. Trying to bypass a review through false information, third-party identities or repeated exchanges can lead to refusal.

Access can be restricted where processing the exchange would breach applicable requirements. Using the service does not remove your responsibility to follow restrictions that apply to you.

Refused Exchanges and Possible Returns

A refused exchange does not automatically qualify for an immediate refund. A return depends on applicable restrictions, completion of the review and the technical ability to transfer the asset.

Where a return is possible, support confirms the receiving details, available amount and network cost before proceeding. Funds cannot be returned to an arbitrary third-party address solely on request.

Review Contacts

Send questions about an existing review to [email protected], quoting the exchange ID. Avoid sending the same documents to multiple contacts unless asked to do so.

The privacy policy explains how exchange and review information is handled. Data needed for a review or mandatory retention can remain stored after the exchange closes.

FAQ

Does every exchange require identity documents?

A standard exchange does not require a trading account, and document requests depend on the review. This policy does not promise that any particular transaction will be exempt from checks.

Can I cancel instead of completing a review?

Contact the review team to discuss the case. Cancellation does not override legal restrictions or guarantee that a return can be processed before the requested checks are completed.

How long does a review take?

The time depends on the case, the completeness of the response and any external information needed. Support can explain what is outstanding but cannot guarantee a universal review deadline.
